John K. King, 84, of 648-A Bunker Hill Road, Strasburg, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 at home.  Born in Talmage, he was the son of the late Jonas and Elizabeth King King.  He was the husband of Arie G. Esh King.  John was a woodworker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are:  eight children, Elizabeth E. Glick, Quarryville, Katie E. wife of Henry P. Esh, Kirkwood, David E. husband of Martha Stoltzfus King, Elam E. husband of Sarah Ann Stoltzfus King, both of Strasburg, Jonas E. husband of Ruth Flaud King, Kinzers, Sadie E. wife of Aaron Smucker, New Providence, Arie E. wife of Amos K. King, Drumore, Barbara E. wife of Jonas G. Zook, Williamsburg, IN; 59 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters, Fannie Petersheim, Ronks, Abner husband of Ruth King, Rebersburg, PA, Katie wife of Jacob Esh, Dornsife, PA, Emma wife of David Stoltzfus, Gordonville, Malinda wife of Henry Glick, Leola, Christian husband of Anna King, Lykens, Lizzie wife of Sylvan King, Paradise, Leroy husband of Naomi King, Gordonville.

He was preceded in death by:  a daughter, Mary E. King; a son-in-law, Levi E. Glick; six brothers, Amos, Jacob, Elam, Jonas, Daniel and Benuel King.

The funeral will be held at the Elam E. King home, 628 Bunker Hill Road, Strasburg on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at noon with interment following in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Strasburg.  Friends may call at the Elam E. King home from the time of this notice till the service.  Kindly omit flowers.
