Alvin E. Stoltzfus, 82, of 184 Quarry Rd., Leola, entered into rest on Monday afternoon, April 8, 2013 at Hospice & Community Care, Lancaster. Born in W. Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Elmer D. and Emma Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, Mr. Stoltzfus worked as a carpenter for Earl King & Son, Leola. More recently, he volunteered at the Mennonite Central Committee. He is survived by: sisters, Katie Stoltzfus, with whom he resided, Ruth wife of the late Leon Fisher, NY; brothers, Jesse married to Rebecca Stoltzfus, Lititz, Leon married to Norma Stoltzfus, Ligonier, IN, Elam married to Anna Mary Stoltzfus, Leola; sisterin- law, Edna Stoltzfus, Buck; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 9 a.m. EST, Wednesday, Apr. 10, 2013 at the home of Mervin Stoltzfus, 182 Quarry Road, Leola with viewing there as well from the time of this notice till the service.
