John F. Wiggins, 84, of Conestoga View, died Friday May 12, 2017 at his residence. Born in Drumore Township, he was the son of the late Maud E. Beach Wiggins and Ralph Wiggins Sr. He was the husband of the late Phyllis M. Spotts Wiggins who died in 2005.

     John was a machine shop worker at PA Scale, in Leola for over 20 years. After his retirement he worked at Sharp Shopper, Leola and Joe Myers Restaurant, Lancaster. He was a member of the Leola United Methodist Church and the Bareville Fire Company. He loved watching baseball and helping out at the fire company.

     John is survived by: a son, Brian A., husband of Tammy Ness Wiggins of Lititz; a daughter, Beth Ann wife of Douglas Troutman of Denver; three grandchildren, Andrew Troutman, Lindsay Troutman and Brady Wiggins; a sister Doris Groff of Lampeter.

     He was preceded in death by an infant sister; brothers, Clyde, Edgar (Bud), Ralph Jr. (Jake), and Harry Wiggins; sisters, Ethel Cooper, Suie and Catherine Wiggins.

     The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Leola United Methodist, 7 West Main St., Leola. Friends may cay call 10 -11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.
