David K. Lapp, 64, of New Holland, entered into rest on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.  Born in Gordonville, he was the son of John E. Lapp of Gordonville, and the late Malinda King Lapp.  He was the wife of Lydia King Lapp.  He was the owner of Mentzer Road  Woodworking.

     In addition to his wife and father, he will be lovingly missed by:  a son, John husband of Danae Sensenig Lapp, New Holland; two daughters, Verna wife of David Stoltzfus, Lancaster, Sara Ann wife of Ike Zook, Newport; 9 grandchildren; four brothers, Amos husband of Lydia Lapp Lapp, Eli husband of Ida Fisher Lapp, both of Gordonville, John husband of Malinda Lantz Lapp, Ephrata, Melvin husband of Barbie Ann Stoltzfus Lapp, Bolivia; three sisters, Sarah wife of Amos Beiler, Bird-in-Hand, Rachel wife of Samuel Ebersol, Rebecca wife of Elam Kauffman, both of Gordonville.

     Funeral services will be held from the Gap View Mennonite Church, 5324 Mine Rd., Kinzers on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 1 PM with viewing immediately following the service or at the church on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 3 to 7 PM.  Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
