Samuel S. Stoltzfus Samuel S. Stoltzfus, 79, of Gordonville, went
home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his home. Born in Churchtown, he was the son of the
late Eli and Emma Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. He was married 57 years to Annie King Stoltzfus.
He worked as a service technician for Rufus
Brubaker's Refrigeration, Manheim. He
enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time with the family at the cabin. He was a member of Spring Garden Church,
Kinzers.
In addition to his wife, he will be
lovingly missed by: six children, Ada married to Jesse Blank, Strasburg, David
married to Rose Zook Stoltzfus, Gap, Priscilla married to Sam Beiler,
Quarryville, John, at home, Marian widow of Allen Smucker, Lancaster, Kathryn
married to Johnnie Beachy, Parkesburg; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren;
five brothers, Daniel married to Emma Stoltzfus, Eli married to Rachel Stoltzfus,
Amos married to Lydia Stoltzfus, Jacob married to Lydia Stoltzfus, David
married to Lena Stoltzfus; a sister, Annie married to John Fisher. In addition to his son-in-law, Mr. Stoltzfus
was preceded in death by a sister, Sadie Stoltzfus.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November
7th at 10 AM from the Spring Garden Church, Old Philadelphia Pike
and Snake Lane, Kinzers. Friends may
call at the church on Monday, November 6th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM
and immediately following the service on Tuesday. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Kindly
omit flowers.
