Amos E. King, Jr., 77, of 3223 W. Newport Rd., Ronks, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his home.  Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Amos and Sadie Stoltzfus King.  He was the husband of Sadie S. Esh King.  Amos was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

     Surviving in addition to his wife are: four daughters, Mary Ann wife of Jake Stoltzfus, Gordonville, Lydia wife of Henry S. King, Jr., Lititz, Amanda Mae wife of Aaron K. Esh, Mamie wife of Mose L. Glick, Jr., both of Paradise; two sons, Abner E. King, Ronks, John E. husband of Rebecca King, Denver; 25 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Jacob husband of Emma King, Abner husband of the late Katie King, both of Gordonville, Samuel husband of Fannie King, Drumore, Sylvan husband of Lizzie King, Paradise, David husband of Martha King, New Holland; two sisters, Linda wife of Elam Lapp, Myerstown, Salome wife of Aaron Petersheim, Gordonville.

     He was preceded in death by:  a son, Samuel Aaron King; a granddaughter; one brother; two sisters.

     Funeral services will be held from the late home on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 12:00 noon with interment in Gordonville Cemetery.  Friends may call from the time of this notice until the service at the late home.  Kindly omit flowers.
