Dianne M. Battleson, 82, of Leola, passed away Thursday September 18, 2025, surrounded by her family at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Jodlowski and Marie Artymowicz. She was the wife of the late Ronald Battleson and the loving companion of Charles Von Wyck.
Dianne was a devoted homemaker and a clerk for the County of Hudson, NJ. She was a lifelong bowler, enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and loved gifting her beautiful and intricate creations to friends and family. Family get togethers to make homemade pierogi for Christmas Eve, or any other reason to gather, was a source of joy and happiness for Dianne. She was a longtime patron of The American Music Theater and frequented their performances. She was an animal lover, and was especially attached to her late fur balls Stan and Ollie.
She is survived by: daughters Lisa R. Clipper of Newark, DE, Kelly A. Young of Haledon NJ, Lynn M. Young and her husband Michael Turner of Tavernier, FL, Kristina M. and husband Paul Caputo of Lyndhurst, NJ; grandchildren Kane A. Clipper of Laurel, MS, Railey M. Clipper of Bear, DE. Additional survivors include her treasured sister Irene Gerbrick of Mantua, NJ, nieces Denise Brown, Cheryl Barbagallo, and nephew Robert Gerbrick, along with a host of extended family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 10:00 am at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St. Leola, PA. The family will greet friends from 9-10 on Thursday at the funeral home.
