When it comes to saying goodbye to someone you love, trust the caring staff at the Furman Home for Funerals to handle all the details. We serve all faiths and tailor our funeral services to your needs and preferences.
Choose from the funeral services you want—either through preplanning or for your loved one who has passed.
A traditional service may be held at our funeral home, your chosen place of worship, a long-term care facility’s chapel, or a residence. The Furman Home for Funerals can easily accommodate up to 100 guests.
Traditional funeral services typically include a viewing of the deceased followed by burial or cremation.
When a viewing is not desired or cremation will be performed, families often choose a memorial service for paying last respects to their loved one.
Our staff can conduct a memorial service at our funeral home, which will comfortably seat up to 100 guests. Or you may choose an alternate site like a house of worship, nursing home chapel, or family residence.
These services are performed after a traditional or memorial service at the burial site. Our funeral directors will make all the arrangements for the graveside service, including a funeral procession if desired.
Our funeral home offers a large selection of caskets, including metal and wood, as well as plain coffins. Visit our facility to see caskets on display. We also carry a wide variety of urns, vault models, and burial garments.
You may choose to use a major credit card to pay for all or a portion of funeral services. Or you can take advantage of our connections with local banks for financing and our work with several different insurance companies to cover costs.
