Heaven has gained another Angel! Rose Marie Brabant passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025. Rose was the wife of William E Brabant (deceased) and the mother of 5 children: Julie Michener (Dennis), Shannon Brabant, Jeffrey Brabant, Tracey Johnston (Butch), Trent Brabant (Shari). In addition, she was blessed with 7 Grandchildren & 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Rose was born in Deckerville, Michigan to William Keith and Madeline (Smith) Lamont. She had 3 sisters (deceased) Ilene Gracey, Barbara Leibinger, and Betty Falls. She also had many nieces & nephews that she loved dearly.
Rose was an excellent homemaker. She enjoyed cooking & baking, sewing, and gardening. She had a passion caring for others and entertaining friends and family. She had attended Carpenters Community Church and valued the friendships she had made there.
Rose shined a light wherever she went & will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held from the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola, on Thursday, October 23rd at 11 am. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 am at funeral home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ephrata Manor Benevolent Fund, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, PA 17522.
