Reuben S. Allgyer, 85, of 272 Skiles Rd., Parkesburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at his home. Born in Leacock Twp., he was the son of the late John and Lizzie Stoltzfoos Allgyer. He was the husband of the late Sadie Ruth Petersheim Allyger, who passed away in 2023. A retired farmer, Reuben was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: 5 children, Lester married to Becky Sue Zook Allgyer, Loysville, Amos married to Martha Stoltzfus Allgyer, Parkesburg, Benuel married to Nancy King Allgyer, Elliottsburg, Lavina married to Christ Stoltzfus, Narvon, Stephen married to Marian King Allgyer, Parkesburg; 31 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Rebecca Stoltzfus Allgyer, Mill Hall. He was preceded in death by: a stillborn daughter; a granddaughter; 4 brothers; 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held from the late home on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11 am with interment following in Millwood Cemetery, Gap. The viewing will be held at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
