Mary Ruth Stoltzfus, 65, of Paradise, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late Levi K. and Mary Beiler Zook. She was the wife of Aaron B. Stoltzfus. Mary Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by: ten children, Levi K. husband of Linda King Stoltzfus of Paradise, Priscilla S. wife of Noah Jay Esh of Quarryville, Benjamin S. husband Martha Stoltzfus Stoltzfus of Kinzers, Omar Isaac husband of Ruth Miller Stoltzfus of Parkesburg, Sadie Ruth wife of Christ King of Paradise, Steven U. husband of Verna Smucker Stoltzfus of Kinzers, Elizabeth Z. wife of Gideon Smucker of Bird-in-Hand, Aaron Z. at home, Annie Z. wife of Melvin Kauffman of Honey Brook, Daniel Z. at home; 22 grandchildren; step-mother, Sadie L. Zook of Gap; brothers, Andrew husband of Katie Zook of Christiana, Levi husband of Fanny Zook of Blain, Paul husband of Susie Zook of Gap, Omar Zook of Lancaster, Daniel husband of Martha Zook of Kinzers, David husband of Anna Zook of Gap; sisters, Miriam wife of Amos Huyard of New Holland, Nancy Ann wife of Daniel King of Kinzers.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Zook, and granddaughter, Esther Stoltzfus.
The funeral will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the home of Christ and Sadie King, 218 S. Kinzer Rd., Paradise. Interment will be in Gap Road Cemetery.
