Jacob L. Miller, 78, of 629 Mill Creek School Road, Bird-in-Hand, passed away at his daughter’s home on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Born in Bird-in-Hand, he was the son of the late John S. and Annie Lapp Miller. He was the husband of the late Katie E. Blank Miller who died in 2023. A retired farmer, Mr. Miller was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: children, Anna B. married to Leroy Fisher, Rebersburg, Amos B. married to Rebecca Lapp Miller, John B. married to Emma King Miller, both of Bird-in-Hand, Barbara B. married to Aaron G. King Jr., Lancaster, Samuel B. married to Barbie Stoltzfus Miller, Bird-in-Hand, Naomi B. married to Elmer King, Points, WV, Rebecca B. married to Christ Lapp, Hillsboro, WV; 48 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Emma wife of the late David Lantz, Gordonville, Emanuel married to Fannie Miller, Bird-in-Hand, John married to Linda Miller, Lloyd married to Susie Miller, both of Lancaster; brother-in-law, Eli husband of the late Mary King; sister-in-law, Hannah wife of Levi Stoltzfus, and the late Elmer Miller. He preceded in death by: a great-granddaughter, Sylvia Fisher; sisters, Lizzie Zook and Naomi Esh; brothers-in-law, Dan Zook and Melvin Esh.
Funeral services will be held from Samuel and Barbie Miller residence, 631 Mill Creek School Rd., Bird-in-Hand on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 9 am EST with interment following in Myer’s Cemetery. The viewing will be at the Miller residence till the time of the service.
