Sarah B. Zook, 67, of Gordonville, passed away on Monday, May 18,2026 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel S. and Susie S. Beiler Lapp. She was the wife of Leon M. Zook. Sarah was a homemaker and a member of Summitview Christian Fellowship.
She died of recent health complications after a long struggle of health issues. When she was feeling well, she enjoyed being with family and visiting with friends and relatives. Her children and grandchildren were special people to her, despite living at a distance from her Kansas family. Over the years, she enjoyed traveling, taking walks, gardening, and canning.
Besides her husband, Sarah is survived by: children, Jason R. Zook of Narvon, Arlene S, married to Loyal Miller of Partridge, KS; seven grandchildren; siblings, Henry B. Lapp of Brownstown, Linda B. Lapp of Gordonville, John B. husband of Chrissie Lapp of Gap, Emanuel B. Lapp of Bird-in-Hand and daughter-in-law Gabriella R. Zook of Reinholds. She was preceded in death by; son, David M. Zook; siblings, Steve B. Lapp and Samuel B. Lapp.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 10:30 am at Summitview Christian Fellowship, 144 Summitville Road, New Holland. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 2-4:00 pm and 6-8:00 pm at the church.
