Rachel Joy Lapp, 70, of 493 Lambert Rd., Narvon, PA 17555 passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at home after a lengthy illness of cancer. She was the daughter of the late John and Sadie Esh Zook. She was the wife of Emanuel K. Lapp. A member of the Old Order Amish, Rachel was a homemaker and the former owner of Sadie’s Bake Shop.
She is also survived by: seven children, Raymond married to Susan Marie King Lapp, Sunbury, Daniel married to Esther L. Fisher Lapp, Narvon, Sadie Mae married to Roman F. Stoltzfus, Manheim, Benuel married to Hannah S. King Lapp, Sunbury, Verna Ann married to Samuel B. Stoltzfus, Newport, Miriam Diane married to Christopher B. Stoltzfus, New Holland, Emanuel Lapp Jr. married to Kathryn R. Lapp, Narvon; 41 grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Getz, Daniel married to Nancy Zook, Narvon, Amos married to Lydia Zook, Lewisburg, Wilmer married to Esther Zook, Virginia. She was preceded in death by: a grandchild, Rachel Kathleen Stoltzfus; siblings, Sylvan R. Zook and Miriam Diane Zook.
The funeral will be at the home of Emanuel Lapp Jr., 489 Lambert Rd., Narvon, Monday, June 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. DST. The viewing will be at the late home till the service. Interment: Mast Cemetery, Morgantown.
