Christian B. Hershberger, 75, of 1362 Springville Rd., East Earl, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Jacob and Mary Beiler Hershberger. He was the husband of the late Annie B. Lapp Hershberger who died in November 2025. A flooring installer, Christian was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by: 8 children, Katie married to Sam Stoltzfus, Oxford, Jacob married to Malinda King Hershberger, Ronks, Elam married to Martha Glick Hershberger, Lancaster, Henry married to Lydia Esh Hershberger, Christiana, Paul married to Fannie Zook Hershberger, Narvon, David married to Sadie Stoltzfus Hershberger, Fairfield, Rachel and Mary Hershberger, both at home; 36 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 8 siblings, Jonathan husband of the late Elizabeth Lapp Hershberger, Quarryville, William husband of the late Druscilla Kinsinger Hershberger, Gordonville, Enos husband of the late Rachel Esh Hershberger, Cochranville, Jacob husband of Annie Zook Hershberger, Rockville, IN, Ben Hershberger, Gordonville, Mose Hershberger, Quarryville, Elizabeth wife of John Stoltzfoos, Princeton, KY, Annie wife of Eli Stoltzfus, Jr., New Canton, VA; sisters-in-law, Rachel King Hershberger, Quarryville, Sarah King Hershberger Miller, Dover, DE, Mattie Lapp Stoltzfus Lapp Fisher, Kirkwood.
He was preceded in death by: brothers, John and Samuel Hershberger; a sister, Fannie Hershberger Lapp.
Funeral services will be held from the Abner King Residence 1114 Reservoir Rd., New Holland, on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 1 pm EDT with interment following in Dry Hill Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
