Helga M. Martin, 85, of New Holland, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Steinheim am Main, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann Friedrich and Margaretha Bohlander. She was the wife of Donald E. Martin, and they were married for 67 years. She was employed by Singing Needles, Watt & Shand and Doneckers. She was a member of Zeltenreich Reformed Church, New Holland. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
Besides her husband, she is survived by: sons, Dennis W. married to Sandra Brady Martin of Lititz and Brian L. married to Susan Sheets Martin of Lancaster; grandchildren, Kelsey married to John Peters of Summerville, SC, Kaitlyn married to Christopher Borg of Lititz, Zachary and Zane Martin both of Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Avery Peters, Carter and Alexander Borg. She was preceded in death by siblings, Walter Bohlander and Renate Ritter.
Graveside service will be Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Zeltenreich Cemetery, 752 Hollander Road, New Holland. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution through the Hospice and Community Care Giving Page.
