Alvin B. Ebersol, 88, of 144 Butter Rd., Leola, entered into rest on Monday, June 15, 2026 at his home. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late LeRoy B. and Rachel Bawell Ebersol. He was the husband of Mary S. Fisher Ebersol and the late Priscilla Fisher Ebersol who died in 1975. Alvin was the owner of L. B. Ebersol & Sons Chair Making and Woodworking. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: 4 sons, Samuel married to Anna Miller Ebersol, Leola, Harvey married to Tammy Sue Keller Ebersol, Denver, Mervin married to Rebecca King Ebersol, Gordonville, Raymond married to Maria Martin Ebersol, East Petersburg; 13 grandchildren; 3 siblings, Ruth wife of the late Ben Stoltzfus, Ephrata, Daniel husband of Emma Ebersol, Lititz, Rebecca wife of the late Amos Lapp, Gordonville. He was preceded in death by: a son, Leroy Ebersol; a stillborn grandson, Joshua Wayne Ebersol; a brother, Elmer Ebersol; a sister Emma Riehl.
Funeral services will be held from the late home on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 10 am EDT with interment following in Myer’s Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home till the time of the service.
