Lydia L. Smoker, 85, of 3323 E. Gordon Rd, Gordonville, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Ronks, she was the daughter of the late Jonas F. and Katie Lapp Beiler. She was the wife of the late Jonas F. Smoker who died in February of 2019. Lydia was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by: children, Benuel B. married to Naomi Stoltzfus Smoker of New Providence, Mervin R. married to Mary Liz Beiler Smoker of Strasburg, Jonas Jr. married to Naomi Zook Smoker, J. Elmer married to Naomi Glick Smoker, both of Gordonville, Samuel B. married to Melinda Burkholder Smoker of Mertztown, Katie Ann married to Reuben B. King of Ronks; 31 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Annie married to Aaron King of Lancaster, Rebecca married to late Christ Miller of New Holland, Naomi married to Levi Fisher of Gordonville, Sally married to Sam Petersheim of New Holland and Christ married to Sylvia Lapp Beiler of Ronks. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Naomi B. Smoker; brother, Benjamin Beiler and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 11:00 am EST at the late home. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Interment will be in Gordonville Cemetery.
