Gregory Lee Lemke, 75, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from a long illness with his family by his side. Born in Berwyn, IL, he was the son of Thomas C. Dalton and Rita Huebsch who later married Lee L. Lemke who adopted and raised Gregory. He was the loving husband of Diane L. Besser Lemke. They were married 54 years in June.
Greg was a PVC pipe plant manager at several locations over the years. He was a musician at Zion Lutheran Church, Leola playing piano for over 20 years. A Green Bay Packers fan, he loved cars, nature, horseback riding and spending time with family.
He will be lovingly missed by: his wife, Diane; his children, Shawn married to Gina Greco Lemke, Ephrata, Ryan G. Lemke, Philadelphia, Alison married to Abner Beiler, Charm, OH, Chelsea married to Nathan Fought, Millersville; nine grandchildren; brothers, Lee married to Leslie Lemke, GA, Mark married to Gwen Lemke, WI, Ken married to Patty Lemke, IL, Dwight married to Susan Lemke, WI; sister, Phyllis married to James Volanti, FL.
The Memorial Service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Quarry Rd., Leola PA 17540. The family will greet friends after the service. Interment: Trumbauer Memorial Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial Contributions are welcomed to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund c/o the above address.
