Jacob S. King, 92, of 5531 Seldomridge Rd., New Holland, passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2026 at home after a brief illness. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late Benjamin B. and Sarah Kauffman King. He was the husband of the late Ruth B. Fisher King who died in 2017. Jacob was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: three children, J. Steven King, with whom he resided, John husband of Minerva Stoltzfus King, Gap, Esther wife of J. Elmer Glick, Lykens; daughter-in-law, Esther Lantz King wife of the late Reuben G. King, Loysville; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth wife of the late Jonas Beiler, Hannah wife of the late Elam Lapp. He was preceded in death by: two sons, Raymond and Reuben; a granddaughter, Rosanne Glick; a great-grandson, Timothy King; siblings, Daniel, Melvin, Katie Beiler, and Amos.
Funeral Services: 10 a.m. EDT, Monday, Aug. 31, 2026 at the home of John A. King, 5559 Seldomridge Rd., Gap with viewing there till the service. Interment: Millwood Cemetery.
