Sadie L. Petersheim, 78, of Fairmount Homes, formerly of Scenic Rd., Gordonville, entered into rest peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Christ U. and Emma Lapp Petersheim. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, Sadie was the retired owner & operator of the Centerville Variety Store.
She is survived by: four brothers, Benuel married to Amanda Petersheim and the late Rebecca Petersheim, Lititz, Christian U. married to Rachel Petersheim, Oxford, Amos L. married to Sadie Petersheim, Gordonville, Melvin L. married to Elizabeth Petersheim, Elizabethville; two sisters, Emma L. married to the late David Z. Stoltzfoos, Oak Grove, KY, Katie Petersheim, Gordonville. A brother, John and sisters, Mary Zook, Susie Petersheim, Annie King preceded her in death.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. EST, Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026 from the home of Amos Petersheim, 3501B Scenic Rd., Gordonville with viewing there till the service. Interment: Myer’s Cemetery, Leola.
