Bertha “Bertie” P. Smoker, 84, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 4, 2026 at her residence. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of late Isaac and Cora Miller Riehl. She was married to the late Jesse L. Smoker. She was a homemaker and a member of Mellinger Mennonite Church.
Bertie loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed reading and family vacations.
She is survived by; children, Robert Smoker, Brian Smoker, Richard Smoker, Steven (Linda) Smoker, Kimberly Smoker; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
