Jacob G. Zook, 76, of 310 Red Well Road, New Holland, passed away on Sept. 24, 2026 at home. Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late John and Emma (Glick) Zook. A woodworker, Jacob was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Jacob is survived by his spouse Fannie S. (Beiler) King Zook; seven children, David B. married to Marian Zook King of New Holland, Melvin John married to Rebecca Sue Stoltzfus King of New Holland, Jonas Z. Jr. married to Kathryn Stoltzfus King of Dunlap, TN; Emma Mae married to Isaac S. Stoltzfus of Yeagertown, John Michael married to Elizabeth King Zook of New Holland, Ivan Ray Zook of New Holland, Rachel Ann Zook of Lancaster; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary married to Ben King of New Holland, Sue married to Dan Zook of Bird-in-Hand, Dora married to Bryan Bowen of Nottingham; brother, David married to Ruth Otto Zook of Rothsville; sister-in-law, Betty Zook of New Holland.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Christ Zook. Funeral services: Saturday, September 26, 2026, 11:00 am EST at the Melvin King residence, 204 Lowry Rd., New Holland with viewing there till the service. Burial will take place in the Dry Hill Cemetery.
