Sadie S. Lapp, 88, of 3948 E. Newport Road, Gordonville, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at her home. Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Eli B. and Lydia Stoltzfus Smucker. She was the wife of the late Benjamin Stoltzfus and the late Moses Z. Lapp. She was a homemaker and served many throughout the years. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Sadie is survived by: children, Hannah wife of Elmer King of Ronks, John husband of Linda Fisher Lapp of Gordonville, Omar husband of Linda King Lapp of Sarasota, FL, Daniel husband of Suzanne Stoltzfoos Lapp of Ickesburg; 26 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; sister, Katie wife of the late John D. Stoltzfus; sisters-in-law, Susie wife of the late David Smucker, Sadie wife of the late Abner Smucker, Malinda wife of the late Amos Smucker.
She was preceded in death by: son, Samuel; a grandson, Zachariah Lapp; brothers, Jacob, John, Reuben, Leroy, Abner, Eli, David, Amos; sisters, Annie Smucker, Amanda King, Leah Esh, Mary Esh, Lydia Esh, Naomi Esh and Susie Dienner.
The funeral will be held at the late home, 3948 E. Newport Rd., Gordonville, at 10:00 DST on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Interment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery, Gordonville.
