Aaron S. Fisher, 91, of 2 Furnace Rd., Quarryville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at his home. Born in Paradise, he was the son of the late David E. and Fannie Smucker Fisher. He was the husband of the late Rachel Stoltzfus Fisher. Aaron was the owner of Fisher’s Housewares and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: eight children, Levi married to Sadie Stoltzfus Fisher, Bart, Israel married to Savilla Fisher Fisher, Quarryville, David married to Malinda Lantz Fisher, Oxford, Jacob married to Naomi Stoltzfus Fisher, Ronks, Gideon married to Linda Fisher Fisher, Parkesburg, Priscilla married to Jonas Zook, Lynn, IN, Sadie married to Alvin Stoltzfus, Ovid, NY, Lizzie married to Jacob Stoltzfus, Gratiot, WI; 71 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ammon Fisher, Roy married to Sylvia Fisher, Gideon married to Sadie Fisher, all of Quarryville, David married to Rachel Fisher, Paradise; daughter-in-law, Sadie Lapp, Hopkinsville, KY.
He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Fannie Lapp; two daughters-in-law, Lizzie Fisher and Rebecca Fisher; three brothers, Levi, Jonathan and Jacob Fisher; a sister, Katie Stoltzfus.
Funeral services will be from the Leon Fisher residence, 1129 Georgetown Rd, Christiana, PA 17509 on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 9 AM EST with interment following in Bart Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
