Aaron S. King, 73, of 3150 Irishtown Rd., Gordonville, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at his residence. Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late Jonathan F. and Sarah R. Smucker King. He was the husband of Susan Schwartz King. He was a self-employed butcher and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides his wife, Mr. King is survived by: children, Carolyn S. wife of Wilmer J. Smoker of Ronks, Maryann wife of John M. Lee of Shippensburg, Martha wife of Ephraim S. Esh of Paradise, Jonathan H. husband of Jane Blank King of Ickesburg, PA, Leroy H. husband of Rose Anna Zook King of Ronks, Mervin King of Gordonville, Barbara R. wife of Allen Beiler of New Holland, Katie Mae wife of Nathan G. Blank of Ickesburg, PA, Aaron S. Jr. husband of Marian A. Esh King of Newburg, Sarah E. wife of John Beiler of Gap; 33 grandchildren; sisters, Katie King of Kinzers, Fannie wife of Samuel King of Drumore; brothers, Leroy husband of Mary King and Jonathan husband of Susan King both of Gordonville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gideon King and brother-in-law, John King.
The funeral will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 12 noon EST at the residence of Samuel F. Stoltzfus, 91 N. Soudersburg Rd., Gordonville. The viewing will be held at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Interment: Gordonville Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
