Abraham K. King

Abraham K. King, 88, of 1241 Gypsy Hill Road, Lancaster, died November 9, 2013 at his  home. Born in Strasburg Township, he was the son of the late Moses and Savilla King King. He was the husband of the late Sarah Beiler King.

 

He was hardware distributor and the owner of A. K. Tools. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

 

 

He is survived by six sons, Moses, husband of Barbara Esh King of Lancaster, Amos, husband of Barbara Stoltzfus King of Watsontown, Omer, husband of Emma Huyard King of Greene, NY, John, husband of Katie Lantz King of Lancaster, Elam, husband of Susie Stoltzfus King of Leola, Jonas, husband of Sarah Petersheim King of Gordonville; daughter, Esther, wife of Christ Petersheim of Paradise; 35 grandchildren; two  step-grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; brother, John, husband of Fannie King of Quarryville; sisters, Lydia King of Christiana, Susie, wife of Ben Fisher of Paradise and a sister-inlaw Rebecca King of Ronks. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah King; a brother, David King; two daughters-inlaw; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one step-great-grandchild.

 

The funeral will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the residence of David Blank, 1230 Gypsy Hill Road, Lancaster. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Interment will be in Beiler’s Cemetery, Ronks. Please omit flowers.
