Amos F. Esh, 82, of 3836 E. Newport Rd., Gordonville, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at home after a lengthy illness. Born in Bird-in-Hand, he was the son of the late Daniel S. and Susan Fisher Esh. He was the husband of Malinda S. King Esh. They observed their 59thanniversary last November. Mr. Esh was the owner of the Newport Repair & Sales, and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving are: five children, Susie married to Samuel King, Lancaster, Fannie married to Stephen Stoltzfus, Kinzers, Abram married to Sarah Ann Fisher Esh, Rebecca married to Abner King, both of Gordonville, Levina married to Amos King, Elizabethville; 39 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel married to Amanda Esh, Bird-in-Hand, David Esh of Christiana married to Mary Esh, Reuben married to Mary Esh, Samuel married to Mary Esh, both of Gordonville; sisters, Levina married to Jacob Fisher, Mifflin, Naomi married to Leroy Lapp, New Holland; sister-in-law, Sara Esh, Howard, PA. A son, Jacob and a brother, John preceded him in death.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. EST, Monday, June 11, 2018 from the Abram Esh residence, 3820 E. Newport Rd., Gordonville. Viewing: at the late home till the service. Interment: Gordonville Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
