     Amos J. Smucker, 65, of 6061 Mast Road, Narvon, PA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 24, 2014 at home.  He was the husband of Mary B. King Smucker. Born in Churchtown, he was the son of the late Amos B. and Sarah Stoltzfus Smucker.  A retired farmer and market worker, Mr. Smucker was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. 

 

     Surviving in addition to his wife are: children, Barbie married to Mahlon Stoltzfus, New Holland, Jonas married to Annie Petersheim Smucker, Narvon, Linda married to Eli Fisher, NY, Anna married to Levi Fisher, Leola, Sara married to David Esh, Gordonville, Priscilla married to Mervin Beiler, Leola, Amos Jr. married to Anna Ruth Lapp Smucker, Ronks, Leah married to Alvin Esh, Gordonville, Elmer at home, Alvin married to Fannie Smucker Smucker, Narvon, Marian and Elizabeth, at home; 42 grandchildren.

 

      Also surviving are: five brothers,  Joseph husband of Naomi Smucker, Ben husband of Lavina Smucker, and Elmer husband of Fannie Smucker, all of Narvon, David husband of Emma Smucker, of East Earl, Jonas husband of Anna Mary Smucker of Millersburg;  six sisters, Rachel wife of Christian Stoltzfus of Spring Mills, Sally wife of Amos Beiler, Mary wife of Ivan Stoltzfus, Barbara wife of Elmer King, all of Narvon, Rebecca wife of Christian Beiler of Bird-In-Hand, Miriam wife of Aaron King of Honey Brook; brother-in-law, Abner King of Gordonville. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Smucker, and a sister, Katie King.

 

     Funeral services will be held from the Michael Ebersol residence 6054 Mast Rd. Narvon on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 9:00 AM with interment following in Stoltzfus Cemetery, Honey Brook.  Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.  Kindly omit flowers.
