Amos L. King, 85, of 594 Strasburg Road, Paradise, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at his residence. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Joel B. and Annie Lapp King. He was the husband of Hannah L. Beiler King. They were married for 64 years. Amos was a dairy farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: children, Lydia King, at home, Annie wife of John Smoker of Kirkwood, Daniel husband of Sarah King King of Quarryville, Christian husband of Arianna Lapp King of Oxford, Sarah wife of Henry Stoltzfoos of Quarryville, Joel husband of Anna Stoltzfus King of Fort Plain, NY, Amos husband of Leah Miller King of Boscobel, WI, Elmer husband of Nancy Stoltzfus King of Paradise, Elam husband of Sarah Blank King of Peach Bottom; 70 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel husband of Sadie King of Millheim, PA, Bennie husband of Rachel King of Kirkwood; a sister, Lizzie wife of Mark Brenneman of Springs, PA.
He was preceded in death by: grandchildren, Christ King, Daniel King and Mary Stoltzfoos; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Christ King.
The funeral will be Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the late home. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service. Interment will be in Beiler’s Cemetery.
