Amos M. King, 84, of 3924 Ridge Road, Gordonville, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at home.  Born in Leacock Twp., he was the son of the late Jacob E. and Rebecca Stoltzfus King.  He was the husband of Lydia Lapp King.  Mr. King was a woodworker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Also surviving are:  seven children, Jacob L. husband of Mary Stoltzfus King, Gordonville, Katie wife of Ben Lapp, Willow Street, Rebecca wife of Emanuel Lapp, Herndon, PA, Esther wife of Melvin Lapp, Paradise, Rachel wife of Dan Stoltzfus, Gap, Lydia wife of John Esh, Gap, Barbara wife of Dave Fisher, Bird-in-Hand; 37 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; one brother, Levi husband of Rebecca King, Gordonville; two sisters, Malinda wife of Amos Esh, Mary wife of Reuben Esh, both Gordonville; sisters-in-law, Katie King, Kinzers, Esther King, Gordonville.  He was preceded in death by: three grandsons, Amos, Mervin and Mahlon Lapp; one sister, Fannie Stoltzfus; two brothers, Abraham and John King.

The funeral will be Friday, August 8, 2014 at 9:00 AM EST from the late home.  Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Kindly omit flowers.  Interment in Dry Hill Cemetery.
