Amos S. Ebersol, 84, of 52 N. Weavertown Rd., Ronks entered into rest on Monday, February 5, 2024 at his home. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late Eli and Sadie Stoltzfoos Ebersol. He was the husband of Lavina M. Stoltzfus Ebersol and had celebrated 58 years of marriage last November. Amos operated Weavertown Furniture Shop and later worked at Sharp Shopper. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: 5 children, Sadie Mae, married to John Stoltzfoos, Gap, and the late Reuben Beiler, Linda married to Levi Zook, Paradise, John married to Amanda Lapp Ebersol, Ronks, Katie wife of the late Jonas King, Bird-in-Hand, Lavina Ebersol, at home; 26 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 6 siblings, Jacob husband of the late Rebecca Ebersol, Peach Bottom, Samuel married to Leah Ebersol, Ronks, Elam married to Emma Ebersol, Bird-in-Hand, Eli married to Sarah Ebersol, Gordonville, Katie wife of the late Ezra Fisher, New Holland, Susie wife of the late Abram King, Honey Brook; sisters-in-law, Linda Ebersol, Paradise, Mary married to Melvin Fisher, Gordonville.
He was preceded in death by: sons-in-law, Reuben Beiler, Jonas King; brothers, Jonas, Isaiah, and John Ebersol.
Funeral services will be from the Stevie Petersheim residence, 64 N. Weavertown Rd., Ronks on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 11 am with interment following in Myer’s Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
