Amos S. Fisher, 68, of 253 Herr Rd., Ronks, entered into sweet rest on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at his home after a lengthy illness. He will be greatly missed by his surviving family and friends. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late David E. and Annie Stoltzfoos Fisher. A hinge and harness maker, Mr. Fisher was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Amos is survived by: his wife, Naomi Ruth Fisher; 4 sons, Ivan F. married to Sarah Glick Fisher, Ronks, John S. married to Ruth Ann Esh Fisher, Paradise, Amos S. Jr. married to Hannah Beiler Fisher, Ronks, David E. married to Lena Esh Fisher, Gordonville; a daughter, Susan F. married to Jacob Ervin Blank, Bird-in-Hand; 31 grandchildren; siblings, Rebecca S. wife of the late Jacob Z. Stoltzfus, Lancaster, John S. married to Sarah Fisher, Ronks, Miriam S. married to Reuben E. Riehl, Millerstown.
Funeral services will be held from the late home on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026 at 9 am EST with interment following in Beiler’s Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home till the time of the service.
