Anna Elizabeth “Liz" Stoltzfus, 68, of 141A S. New Holland Road, Gordonville, died unexpectedly and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
Born in Honey Brook Twp., she was a daughter of the late Naaman and Barbara (Lapp) King. She was the loving wife of Melvin B. Stoltzfus. They were married 48 years last August.
A member of Pilgrim Bible Church, New Holland, she loved flowers, gardening, family history, southern Gospel music and family trips to the beach and mountains. Her children and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She will also be lovingly missed by: daughter, Cheryl married to Steven Shenk of Strasburg; two sons, Karl married to Anita Zeiset Stoltzfus of East Earl, Anthony married to Diane Eitnier Stoltzfus of New Holland; nine grandchildren, Alethea, Gabriel, Zachary, Abbi, Miranda, Sebastian, Tabby, Simon and Jack; brother, Lloyd King of Gordonville; two sisters, Cora Jean married to Jonathan Riehl of Gordonville, Barbie married to Mel Stoltzfus of White Horse; aunt, Elizabeth Lapp of Intercourse.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 25th at 2 p.m. from the Ridgeview Mennonite Church, 3723 Ridge Rd., Gordonville with viewing there Saturday evening from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday from 1-2 p.m. Burial will take place in the Ridgeview Mennonite Cemetery.
