Anna Belle (Weaver) Zook, 90, of Fairmount Homes, formerly of Oxford, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, at Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Hinkletown, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Anna Nolt Weaver. She was the wife of the late Simon Z. Zook who died in 1983.
A homemaker, she assisted her husband with their dairy farm. She was a member of the Media Mennonite Church, Oxford, where she was a past member of the sewing circle. She enjoyed sewing and reading.
Surviving are: three daughters, Anna Grace wife of Charles Moore, Kirkwood, Geraldine wife of James Snyder, St. Leonard, MD, Mary Jane O’Connor Hess wife of Ken Hess, Willow Street; three sons, Raymond husband of Jane Hershey Zook, Narvon, Robert husband of Nancy Peoples Zook, Oxford, Carl husband of Karen Kilheffer Zook, Quarryville; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Raymond Weaver. She was preceded in death by a son, Edwin Zook; two brothers, Earl and Ralph Weaver.
Funeral Services will be held from the Wheat Ridge Chapel at Fairmount Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Dr., Ephrata on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 1:30 pm with interment following in Hinkletown Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, and from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on Thursday, all at the Wheat Ridge Chapel.
