Annette M. (Mastromatteo) Brunner passed away on July 28, 2026, in Marietta, PA. Born on August 21, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Richard J., Sr. and Elena (Spackman) Mastromatteo.
“Net” as she was affectionately known, enjoyed reading, the beach and taking care of all animals. She was famous among family and friends for her delicious pumpkin roll and baked beans. She will be remembered for her kind heart, spontaneous nature and her innate ability to nurture plants and people. She especially loved being “Mawee” to Jayce Fisher and Jacob Brunner.
In addition to her grandsons, Net is survived by: her husband, Harry Richard Brunner, her son Joshua R. (Erin) Brunner, daughter Jennifer R. Brunner and stepson, R. Ashley Brunner, her brothers Richard J. (Darla) and Edward A. (Diane) Mastromatteo and sister, Victoria A. Foltz. Net will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Barry C. and John M. Mastromatteo.
Arrangements will be private and the family requests, in lieu of flowers, to make a donation to the PSPCA or a local animal shelter in her honor.
