Annie Y. Lapp, 82, of Newmanstown, died Thursday, December 14, 2023 at her home. Born in Myerstown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Y. and Sylvia Yoder Peachey. She was the wife of Jacob S. Lapp. Annie was a homemaker and a member of Summitview Christian Fellowship Church.
Beside her husband, she is survived by: children, Fannie Mae wife of James Rissler of Pattonsburg, MO, Thomas L. husband of Kristin Noftsier Lapp of Philadelphia, NY, David L. husband of Rebecca S. Robbins Lapp of Lowville, NY, Miriam A. wife of Jesus L. Gamboa of Costa Rica, Susanna J. wife of Raymond Glick of Palmer, MA, Rhoda R. Lapp of Newmanstown, Jacob S. Jr. husband of Grace A. Miller Lapp of Bernville, Timothy M. Lapp of Newmanstown; 35 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Arie E. wife of Gideon Fisher of Myerstown. She was preceded in death by, nine siblings.
The funeral will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 10 AM at Summitview Christian Fellowship, 144 Summitville Road, New Holland, PA. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 17 at 2- 4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM at Summitview. Please omit flowers. Interment will be in adjoining cemetery.
