Aquilla R. Stoltzfus, 79, of 844 Hoover Rd., Kinzers, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at home. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late David R. and Susie Riehl Stoltzfus. He was the husband of Anna Mary Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. They celebrated 56 years of marriage last November. Aquilla was a self-employed woodworker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: three sons, Steven husband of Sarah King Stoltzfus, Bird-in-Hand, Aquilla R. Jr. husband of Emma Zook Stoltzfus, Gap, Emanuel husband of Bertha Fisher Stoltzfus, Kinzers; three daughters, Katie Mae wife of Elam Beiler, Christiana, Ruth Ann wife of David King, Gordonville, Verna wife of Daniel King, Lancaster; 40 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brothers, Michael husband of Barbie Stoltzfus, Cambridge, Ivan husband of Susie Stoltzfus, Narvon, Omar husband of Barbie Stoltzfus, Newburg, David Jr. husband of Eva Stoltzfus, TN; sisters, Anna wife of the late David Fisher, Elizabethville, Arie wife of Steven Stoltzfus, Gordonville. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Miriam Rose; grandson, Jonas King; brother, John Henry Stoltzfus.
Funeral: Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 9 AM EST from the Emanuel Stoltzfus residence, 841 Hoover Rd., Kinzers. Friends may call from the time of this notice until the service at the late home. Interment: Millwood Cemetery, Gap.
