Aquilla S. Lantz, 65, of 765 W. Lexington Rd., Lititz, PA, passed away Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2013 after a seven month illness. He was the husband of Sylvia King Lantz. Born in Strasburg, he was a son of the late Aaron L. and Fannie Stoltzfus Lantz. Mr. Lantz was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving are: children, Amos married to Sylvia Fisher Lantz, Lititz, Rachel married to Amos Beiler, Quarryville, Aaron married to Lydiann Stoltzfus Lantz, Lancaster, Aquilla Jr. married to Heidi Zimmerman Lantz, York, Anna married to Marvin Kauffman, Myerstown, Fannie at home; 27 grandchildren; sisters, Mary married to Daniel Lapp, Quarryville, Nancy married to Christ Beiler, Peach Bottom, Barbara Lantz, Strasburg; sisters-in-law, Lizzie Lantz, Strasburg, Sarah Lantz, Bird-in-Hand; brother-in-law, Christ King, Ronks.
A son, Melvin Lantz; a son-in-law, Omer Zook; brothers, Benjamin and David Lantz; and a sister, Rachel King preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at the late home. Interment: Sun Hill Cemetery, Lititz. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
