Barbara E. Stoltzfus, 77, of East Earl, entered into eternal rest at her home, with family by her side, on November 7, 2025, after a long illness. She was born on July 31, 1948, to the late Eli Z. and Emma (Esh) King and married Moses S. Stoltzfus on October 31, 1968. They celebrated 57 years of marriage one week before her death. Throughout her life Barbie loved spending time with people. She made strangers her friends and enjoyed conversations with the many people she knew. She actively supported her husband in the tape ministry, touching countless lives with messages of hope and inspiration. The outdoors was her happy place. In her later years, birds and flowers, especially hummingbirds and African violets, were enjoyed from her living room. Favorite pastimes were crocheting and working on puzzles, which she especially enjoyed doing with other people. She loved and was loved by her children and grandchildren, praying for them often and making it a point to call or visit them on their birthday.
She is survived by her husband Mose of East Earl and seven children: Katie (Conrad) Swartzentruber of Ephrata; Benjamin (Betty Ann) Stoltzfus of Harmony, NC; Eli (Maria) Stoltzfus of East Earl; Emma (Leon) Zook of Villisca, IA; Reuben (Jennifer) Stoltzfus of Lancaster; Barbara Stoltzfus of Ephrata; Martha (Lenny) Stahl of Milbank, SD; 36 grandchildren; also two brothers and seven sisters: Christian (Annie) King of Christiana; Katie (Benjamin) Stoltzfus of Loganton; David (Lena) King of Airville; Annie (Elmer) Beiler of Oxford; Naomi (Aaron) King of Wisconsin; Emma (Isaac) King of Airville; Arie (Daniel) Lapp of Wisconsin; Susie (Gideon) King of Kinzers; Priscilla (Samuel) Fisher of Mohnton; and a sister-in-law Rebecca (John) King.
