     Benjamin B. Stoltzfus, Jr., 89, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 at Ephrata Manor. He was the husband of Ruth E. Ebersol Stoltzfus and celebrated 69 years of marriage on January 1.

     Born in Gordonville to Benjamin & Annie Beiler Stoltzfus, he was father to Paul Stoltzfus, Edna Blymier (Charlie) & Audrey Grice (Fred). Pop-Pop to Natasha Jones (Austin), Danielle Nemastil (Nick), Joshua Weik (Caitlin), Kathrine Weik & Kayla Rhodes (Steven). Great Grandpa to Ryan, Autumn, Micah, Joel & Riley.  Jonathan welcomed him into Heaven.

     Formerly from Akron, he was a jokester and enjoyed making people laugh. When living in Bird-in-Hand, he was actively involved in the fire company. He and Ruth enjoyed traveling the country on motorcycle (Glory Road Riders), playing cards with friends & snowmobiling. Before retiring, the “Bull Shooter” was employed by John F. Martin Meats as a plant manager.

     He is also survived by a brother, Dan Stoltzfus (Ruth) of Florida and sister-in-law, Annie Stoltzfus. He was preceded in death by siblings Naomi Beiler, Mary Lapp, Rebecca Stoltzfus, Fannie Stoltzfus, Sarah Kauffman, Menno & Amos Stoltzfus.

     A memorial service will be held at Ridgeview Mennonite Church (where they were members for over 55 years), 3723 Ridge Road, Gordonville, on Saturday, February 14 at 1:00 pm. Friends and family will be received from noon to 1:00 pm. Interment will be private.
