Benjamin K. Lantz, 90, of 383 Mount Vernon Rd., Gap, passed away on Friday morning, Apr. 7, 2017 at home. Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late Amos and Anna Kauffman Lantz. A retired farmer, Mr. Lantz was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He was the husband of Emma Lapp Lantz. They were married for 61 years last November.
Also surviving are: three children, John married to Sylvia Stoltzfus Lantz, Gap, Amos married to the late Susie Stoltzfus Lantz, Anna Mary married to Daniel J. Stoltzfus, both of Economy, IN; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Amos married to Amanda Petersheim Lantz, Elmer married to Rebecca Stoltzfus Lantz, both of Gap; two sisters, Amanda married to Isaac Fisher, East Earl, Anna Mary married to Jonas Stoltzfus of North Carolina; three sisters-in-law, Lydia Lantz, Gap, Katie Lantz, Morgantown and Anna Lantz married to Bennie Fisher, Honey Brook. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Lizzie Lantz; a daughter-in-law, Susie Lantz; a stillborn son; and three brothers, Jonathan, Jacob, Reuben; and a sister, Katie Lantz.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. EST, Monday, Apr. 10, 2017 from the late home. Interment: Buena Vista Cemetery. Viewing: at the late home till the service.
