Benjamin L. Fisher, 66, of 150 Colonial Rd., Gordonville, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was the husband of Anna M. Stoltzfus Fisher, they were married for 41 years. Born in Ronks, he was the son of Elizabeth Lapp Fisher and the late Daniel L. Fisher. He was a self-employed sheet metal worker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by: six children, Ruth wife of Amos Lapp, Pine Grove, Elizabeth wife of Eli Stoltzfus, Lititz, John husband of Verna Glick Fisher, Gap, Daniel husband of Leah King Fisher, Narvon, Sarah Ann wife of John David Lantz, Leola, Alvin Fisher, at home, engaged to Susan Glick; 11 grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Fannie wife of Michael Lapp, Quarryville, John husband of Emma Fisher Fisher, Loysville, Lydia wife of John Beiler, Narvon, Katie wife of David Stoltzfus, Blain, Mary widow of the late John Stoltzfus, Ronks. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Rebecca and Steven Stoltzfus.
The funeral will be Friday, October 23, 2015 at 9:00 AM EST from the home of Elmer Esh, 139A Colonial Road, Gordonville. Interment in Dry Hill Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
