Bernard T. Jenny, 90, of Lancaster passed away on S a t u r d a y, February 23, 2013. Born October 20, 1922 in Dumont, NJ, he was the son of Frederic and Martha Jenny. He was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Lynn Jenny. B e r n i e received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from New Holland Machine Company/ Sperry Rand after 30 years of service. Bernie is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Dorothy Jane (Shank) Jenny. Surviving children: Tana Lampkin, Debra Garrett (Timothy) and Neal Jenny (Pamela Moore). Surviving grandchildren: April Salinas, Tyler Lampkin, Brian Garrett, Kyle Garrett (Rebecca) and Stephen Garrett. Surviving great-grandchildren: Tristen, Austin and Kaitlyn Salinas and Eric and Dustin Lampkin. Memorial service to be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Grace United Church of Christ, 1947 New Holland Pike, Lancaster at 11:00 AM with greeting time from 10-11 AM. Furman’s – Leola.
