Bruce B. Leicey, 88, of the Delaware Valley Veterans’ Home, Philadelphia, formerly of Brownstown, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016. He was born in Rothsville, Lancaster County, the son of the late Chester L. and Bertha S. Graybill Leicey.
During his working years, he was a heavy equipment operator for Hardaway Co., Odenton, MD and part-time for Dutchman Construction, Brownstown, PA. A U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean War, Mr. Leicey served as a sergeant with the 3359 Company B 44th Engineer Construction Battalion receiving a Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars. A member of the Ephrata Amvets and Elks, he also attended the Ebenezer E.C. Church, Brownstown. He enjoyed Roger Whitaker music.
He is survived by: a niece, Nancy Gentili and a nephew, Robert Gentili. A brother, George and a sister, Virginia Gentili preceded him in death.
Private graveside services will be at the family’s convenience at Brownstown Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Memorials welcomed to any Elks club.
