Catherine P. “Patsy” Dunn, 90, of Brethren Village, formerly of Nassau Rd., Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Troop Sr. and Gertrude Firestone Troop Fricker. She was the loving wife of the late Peter M. Dunn, who died in 1989.
Mrs. Dunn worked in the housekeeping department at Millersville University. A member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and past member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church where she volunteered at bingo for many years, she enjoyed spending time with her family, enjoying great meals with those close to her, and taking care of her nieces and nephews.
Patsy loved to be of service. She was a most generous, kind person who helped in any way she could. She was a dear friend to many who have since departed, and her family takes great comfort in knowing she will be reunited with so many people she loved.
Patsy will be lovingly missed by her nephews, Steven (Judy) Troop, Jeffery (Brenda) Troop, both Lancaster, Theodore Troop, Conestoga, Craig Mott, MT; nieces, Jennifer (Greg) Becker, Jacksonville, NC, Jeanne (Charles) Schall, Maytown; and extended family. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas Troop Jr., and Shirley Troop Bohannon, as well as her nephew, Michael Troop, and niece, Linda Troop.
Funeral Services: 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543. Visitation with family will be from Noon – 1 p.m. Interment: St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman. Kindly omit flowers. Memorials welcomed to: St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E.
