Charles E. Mease Sr., 94, formerly of Leola, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024. Born in Mountville, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Dorothy Oleweiler Mease. He was the beloved husband of Kath Lee J. Pauly Mease who died in 2022 and the late Jacqueline Farmer Mease who died in 1966.
Charlie was a purchasing manager for Howmet, Lancaster. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951-53. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, New Holland; and was a Mason, Life Member of the Christiana Blue Lodge. He was an avid golfer especially at Four Seasons Golf Club.
He will be lovingly missed by two children, Donna M. Mease, Simpsonville, SC, Charles Jr., Lancaster; and his sister, Arlene Buckwalter, Lititz. A son-in-law, Gary Hare; 2 brothers, Paul and Harry; a sister, Mary Fisher preceded him in death.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water St., New Holland PA 17557.
