Charles U. “Junie" Wenger Jr., 90, of New Holland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at home. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Susan Usner Wenger. He was married to Ellen M. “Sis" Groff Wenger. They observed their 72nd wedding anniversary last January.
Mr. Wenger worked all his life for his father and later himself as a mechanic at the Charles Wenger Jr. Garage, New Holland. He had been a member of the Zeltenreich United Church of Christ, New Holland. He enjoyed traveling with his wife.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: four children, Susie married to Ross Bare, Columbia, Sally married to Donald Usner, E. Earl, John married to Vicky Wenger, David married to Marianne Wenger, both of New Holland; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. A brother, Floyd, preceded him in death.
Private burial services will be at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to one's favorite charity.
