Christ R. Zook, 55, of 188 Dry Wells Road, Quarryville, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at home. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late Noah S. and Mary Riehl Zook. He was the husband of Sylvia G. King Zook. Christ was a farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: eight children, Benjamin K. husband of Katie Beiler Zook of Quarryville, Lydia Mae wife of Stephen Glick of New Holland, Katie K. wife of Mose Stoltzfus of Christiana, Mary, Emma, Jacob, Susie, Lizzie Zook, all at home; nine grandchildren; six brothers, David R. husband of Sadie Stoltzfus Zook, Moses B. husband of Mary Esh Zook, both of New Holland, Stephen R. husband of Lena Beiler Zook of Ephrata, John R. husband of Linda King Zook of New Holland, Jacob R. husband of Emma Fisher Zook of Manheim, Elam R. Zook of Lancaster; two sisters-in-law, Leah Zook of Ephrata, Elizabeth Zook of East Earl.
He was preceded in death by: a son, Eli K. Zook; two daughters, Miriam K. Zook, Anna K. Zook; a brother, Benjamin R. Zook.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 9:00 AM from the late home. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Interment in Bart Cemetery, Georgetown. Kindly omit flowers.
