Christian L. Fisher, 86, of 74 S. Ronks, Rd., Ronks, PA passed away of natural causes on Monday, Apr. 1, 2019. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Amos M. and Rebecca Esh Fisher. His wife, Sarah Lapp Fisher, died on Nov 30, 2018. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, Mr. Fisher was a farmer and welder at Fisher’s Iron Works, Ronks.
He is survived by: five sons and five daughters, Barbara married to Vernon Stoltzfus, Loysville, Amos M. married to Anna Mary Stoltzfus Fisher, Quarryville, Rebecca married to Norman Stoltzfus, Narvon, John L. married to Naomi Stoltzfus Fisher, Mt. Joy, Christian Jr. married to Hannah Beiler Fisher, Kirkwood, Elam L. married to Emma King Fisher, Bird-in-Hand, Leon L. married to Sadie Fisher Fisher, Gordonville, Arie married to Ivan Esh, Ithaca, MI, Esther married to Samuel Esh, Leola, Sarah Fisher, Ronks; 81 grandchildren; 170 great-grandchildren; siblings, Daniel married to Malinda Fisher, E. Earl, Amos married to Lydia Ann Fisher, Landisburg, Malinda married to David King, Kinzers; brother-in-law, Phares Stoltzfus, Blain; sisters-in-law, Annie Fisher, Leola, Barbara Fisher, Gordonville, and Susie Fisher. He was preceded in death by: a son & daughter-in-law, Melvin and Savilla Fisher; son-in-law, Stephen Fisher; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brothers, David, Jonas, Elam, Moses and Aaron; sister, Arie Stoltzfus; brother-in-law, Daniel Stoltzfus.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. EST, Wednesday, Apr. 3, 2019 at the late home with viewing there till the service. Kindly omit flowers. Interment: Beiler’s Cemetery, Ronks.
